Secure Extranet
One of the core needs in any DSMB is the ability to disseminate information and receive quick responses. Watermark provides secure extranet access. Secure extranet is the most secure form of communication with board members. With this access the board members are able to logon at any time, review documents, print information, and turn around reports for your review.
Independent Statisticians
Confidentiality of data review and interim data analyses is critical. As such, the statistician preparing the documents for the DSMB must also be independent. Watermark can provide statisticians to serve on the DSMB to support the data review or to create the tables, listings, and graphs for review by the board members. All statisticians are experienced in working with DSMB and providing the output in an easy to understand format, tailored to the needs of the study.
Draft Meeting Reports
Because Watermark is completely independent, we are able to attend the open and closed sessions of the DSMB. During the meeting, we take the meeting minutes and draft the open and closed all reports are sent to the board members for their review and edits. We update any changes from all the board members and send the final version to the committee for final signature. This allows Watermark to turn around meeting reports quickly. Quick report turn around is critical for making decisions to continue the study or stop for safety concerns.
